If you are planning on booking a truck rental with us, we are open 7 days a week. Our office hours on weekdays are between 8 am to 5:30 pm and 9 am to 5 pm on weekends. We are closed on public holidays.

How do I pay for my truck hire?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Amex), EFTPOS, cash, and approved purchase orders from companies, clubs, and schools. Kindly note that there is a 2.5% credit card surcharge for all payments made with credit cards.

Credit card details are normally held as security. If the security is a debit or eftpos card a bond of $500 is charged in addition to the hire. 

Bonds are refunded once the vehicle is returned and all the terms of the rental agreement are met.

Are all prices included with every truck hire?

When you hire a truck, all prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and standard insurance. 

For commercial vehicles like trucks and cargo vans the first 100km are free per day. For additional mileage needed, a per km charge will be quoted.

Do your rates include unlimited kilometers for truck hire?

We don’t offer unlimited kilometers for trucks.

Are there charges for an additional driver?

No, there are no charges for an additional driver. You can add as many drivers as needed, so long as each driver’s licence is added to the rental agreement before they take the wheel.

Are one-way hires available for truck hires?

One-way hires are not available on our trucks and cargo vans.

What driving license can I use for truck rental?

To rent a truck, you must have a valid NZ driver’s license or a valid overseas license to drive in NZ. Our trucks and vans can all be driven on a full car licence. While we can hire most vehicle types to restricted license holders (conditions apply) our trucks exceed the weight restrictions of this licence class. We cannot hire to learner’s licence holders.
